an InfraRed Sauna

Did you know that an average rock sauna needs to reach 190 degrees for the body to sweat? 

 

Most people, like myself, are not able to handle heat that high, and my heart seems to frown upon it.

Our InfraRed can have you sweating at 120 degrees, which is less stress on the heart. Our sauna ranges in temperature from 32 degrees to 167 degrees F. Most people prefer to have it set between 135-140 degrees.You can have the sauna heat up while you are sitting in it, or we can have the sauna heated before you get here.

In a 30 minute session you can burn 200-500 calories and more, compared to these calories a normal 150-pound person normally burns in 30 minutes of exercise:

 

Running (marathon): 550, Swimming: 300, Jogging: 300, Tennis (fast game): 265, Cycling (10 mph): 225, Golfing (no cart): 150
